Ashplant
Reading, Smashing, and Playing Ulysses
Every image on Ashplant, and where it came from. This page exists because
the sources used to be recorded only in each image’s alt
attribute, which is read aloud to anyone using a screen reader: it meant a
reader heard a Project Gutenberg URL instead of a description of the picture,
and it meant the sources were invisible to everyone else. The descriptions
now describe, and the sources live here.
Except where noted below, all photographs and project images are by Erik Simpson.
Episode illustrations
The eighteen illustrations on the episode pages come from student art projects related to Ashplant, by Lydia Scott and LilyRose Weiss, used with permission. The same credit appears beneath each illustration.
Heraldry
The heraldry project illustrates its terms with images from public-domain sources. Each image on those pages also links to the page it came from.
