This section includes my "Five Ways of Looking at a Thesis" and a series of links to materials written by other teachers about thesis construction. These materials focus on developing theses for critical essays; one might apply similar ideas to other kinds of writing (film reviews, lab reports, and position papers, for instance), but the application will be indirect.
