Born with a silver knife in his mouth\u2026 Out I hate dirty eaters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In Lestrygonians on pg. 139 we receive a 3<sup>rd<\/sup> person close perspective to Mr. Bloom that is quite at odds with our earliest impression of him. That opening passage is rife with symbolism that might be considered \u201cdirty eat(ing)\u201d, but Bloom is so disgusted by people taking pleasure at a simple meal that he feels the need to leave. Aside from his consumption of animal\u2019s innards, described great relish, his behavior within the restaurant reveals an underlining hypocrisy within Bloom\u2019s attitude, which manifests itself in his inability to connect with his peers (as demonstrated in ch.7).
